Here are a couple recipes using some of our products:



Swedish Oven Pancakes

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups Wheat Montana flour of your choice
3 1/2 cups milk
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.


Mix all ingredients until well moistened and blended. Butter a 9"x13" pan and spread batter into pan. Serve with jam, cooked fruit or maple syrup.

Wheat Montana Red Hot Cereal

Ingredients

5 cups  water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cinnamon red hots
3 cups Wheat Montana rolled 7-grain cereal
1/3 cup sugar
1 20 oz. can of apple pie filling

Directions

In a 3-quart saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add the cinnamon red hots, stirring constantly until dissolved. Stir in the 7-grain cereal. Bring back to a boil, reduce heat to medium low. Simmer until thick, stirring occasionally. Stir in the sugar and apple pie filling. Serve with brown sugar and fresh cream. Serves 8.

Healthy Pie Crust

Makes 2 double-crust pies.

Ingredients

2 cups Wheat Montana Prairie Gold flour
2 cups Wheat Montana Natural White flour
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups softened butter
1/2 cup cold water
1 egg
2 teaspoons white vinegar

Directions

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add the 2 cups softened butter. Cut butter until mixture is the consistency of cornmeal.

Combine wet ingredients and add to flour mixture and stir only until mixed. Roll out on a floured surface or between lightly floured plastic wrap.

Fill and bake to complete your recipe.
